Robots vs Animals

In partnership with Bristol Zoo and the UWE Science Communication Unit, we are highlighting the creativity and diversity of engineering. This project showcases BRL projects that make use of biomimicry – inspiration from nature – to develop state-of-the-art robotics. We are developing a series of workshops for Key Stage 3 students (11-14yrs) at Bristol Zoo in 2014/15. This project also includes a series of public talks and demonstrations at the Festival of Nature, Bristol Bright Night and further events.

Please see the Robots vs Animals website for more details. This public engagement project is funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering.
